We have water!! Guys I am SO stoked for this! I love how unique our water system in because of how creative Jack is 😊
So we started with regular water tanks you can find on Amazon, they were plastic and kinda chincy but worst of all they looked real lame, even after we painted one black. Jack got the keg idea and let me tell you, those look bada$$! We painted one black to absorb the sunlight for some warmer water.
The other downside to the water tank was the super crappy pressure we got from the pump, we were also looking for a low energy way to get maximum pressure. Again, the pressurized keg seemed like the perfect idea. What do you pressurize kegs with? CO2... yep we ended up with soda water 😂. However clever Jack came up with a way to pressurize it with air and voila max water pressure with low energy.
Once the system was figured out we were able to dig into the sink and outdoor shower. Being able to wash the kiddos off at the end of the day is a dream! Plus I picked up a simple pop up shower: WolfWise Pop-up Shower Tent that has a hole in the top to feed the shower head through so Jack and I can get so fresh & so clean as well!
For the sink we went with this awesome Ruvati Topmount Bar Prep Sink that is stainless steel. I love all the little accessories it came with especially the solid wood cutting board to close it off when not in use.
Lastly, I picked out this Ladera Bar Faucet by Pfister because of the spot defense stainless steel and 360 degree rotation which allowed us to mount it with the handle facing into the sink for easier use.
I can’t wait to update you all on how much I love our new water system!
